Short answer: according to LinkedIn's official pricing page, read on 5 October 2026, Sales Navigator Core starts at $119.99 a month or $1,079.88 a year, and Advanced at $159.99 a month or $1,799.88 a year; Advanced Plus is quoted on request. Core is aimed at one person prospecting alone. It helps you find the right profiles, but it sends no invitations or follow-ups for you: if you prospect at a steady volume, you add a sequencing tool. And a solo professional who targets one city or one trade can often do without it.
How much does Sales Navigator cost in 2026?
LinkedIn publishes its prices in several currencies on its plan comparison page. The dollar amounts below were read on 5 October 2026 (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator plans and pricing, accessed 5 October 2026):
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Aimed at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $119.99 a month | $1,079.88 a year | Individual sellers |
| Advanced | $159.99 a month | $1,799.88 a year | Sales teams |
| Advanced Plus | On request | On request | Teams using an integrated CRM |
Prices are per licence. LinkedIn states that they are estimates, that they may exclude VAT, sales tax or promotions, and that they can change; the "Show prices" button on the page gives the actual price for your account. In euros, the same page lists Core at €120.99 a month (€1,088.88 a year) and Advanced at €148.21 a month (€1,693.88 a year).
A quick calculation: $1,079.88 spread over twelve months is $89.99 a month for Core, a quarter less than the monthly rate. The annual commitment makes sense if you are sure to use it all year, and is a poor choice if you are still testing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, not immediately.
What does each plan include?
The comparison page highlights more than 50 advanced search filters, 50 InMails a month on all three plans, real-time alerts (job changes, new posts) and AI assistance features available in some languages only. LinkedIn presents Advanced as the plan for sales teams (team access, centralised billing, reports) and Advanced Plus as the plan for teams that use an integrated CRM. The table on the page shows, line by line, what each plan contains.
For a single user, the lines that matter are filters and alerts. They are what lets you spot, for example, people who have just changed jobs, a signal we cover in our guide to job-change prospecting.
A free trial exists for Core and Advanced. LinkedIn reserves it for members with no paid subscription and no free trial in the last 365 days. Signing up requires a credit card: LinkedIn says it sends a reminder seven days before the trial ends, and that you can cancel before being charged.
What does Sales Navigator not do?
It does not prospect for you. LinkedIn's table mentions no message sequence, no automatic follow-up and no stopping of a sequence when someone replies. You find profiles, you save them, then you write or invite one by one, by hand.
That is deliberate on LinkedIn's part. Its terms forbid third-party tools that automate actions on the platform, browser extensions included (LinkedIn Help, "Prohibited software and extensions", accessed 5 October 2026). No tool can therefore protect you from a restriction; we discuss this in our guide to safe automation limits.
The 50 monthly InMails let you write to someone outside your network. A quota is a quota: at 50 messages a month, InMail is for the targets you really want to reach, not for mass sending.
Who can do without it?
Anyone who targets a narrow area and does not need fine filters. These are the profiles for whom we suggest waiting before paying:
- The local solo professional. A coach, accountant or real estate agent working in one city or county gets a usable list from standard search, a location filter and a job title.
- The beginner. Until you have validated your message and your target, paying $90 to $120 a month for a search tool is premature. A first two-week test costs less.
- Someone who already has a list. A file of clients or prospects that you import does not need advanced filters.
Conversely, the subscription is justified if you change targets often, if you work from signals (job changes, posts, funding rounds) or if you build lists of several hundred people a month. This assessment is ours: it follows from what the plans contain, not from a study.
What does each combination cost per month?
The calculation always has two lines: search and sending. Tool prices are those of the official sites on 5 October 2026; Sales Navigator prices are the LinkedIn estimates quoted above.
| Combination | Search | Sequences | Indicative monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free search + Sales Farmer Starter | $0 | $15 | $15 |
| Sales Navigator Core (annual) + Sales Farmer Starter | about $90 | $15 | about $105 |
| Sales Navigator Core (monthly) + Sales Farmer Starter | $119.99 | $15 | about $135 |
The first case is where most solo professionals start. The last one costs nine times more and is justified when Sales Navigator's filters save you hours. To compare other sequencing tools, see our Waalaxy, Kanbox and lemlist pages.
Do Sales Navigator and Sales Farmer work together?
Yes. The Sales Farmer extension extracts profiles from a LinkedIn search or a Sales Navigator search, with a filter to keep profiles active in the last 30 days. You can keep Sales Navigator for searching and use Sales Farmer to invite, write and follow up, or simply use the free search. Our LinkedIn extraction page describes how it works.
